My Dad brought me there and let me know that our family used to eat there on the regular. He pointed out how clean everything was and he was right... spotless. From the windows to the walls. The white tablecloth table tops are refreshing. There is a big menu with specials. There is homemade soup and pies. I had chili and it was so yummy. Not too many beans and just the right amount of spice. The staff were very attentive and knew what they were doing. Plenty of parking.

The pumpkin ravioli that wife had was excellent but the mini crab cakes with bang bang sauce tasted good but was fried a little to long and the broiled seafood medley that I had wasn't very tasty it had a piece of haddock,3 3 shrimp and 3 scallops with angel hair pasta and seemed a pricey to me at $30. The meals did come with salad and rolls. The waitress and all the other people we interacted with were all very nice. Will give them another chance. And i will be trying something else. 1/2/26 Tried them again wife had the same and it was very good. I had the brioche hamburger which was very generous in size but could have used a little more seasoning but still very good. The fries that came with it were delicious. But the two onion rings they put on top were greasy. The waitress and other employees are excellent.

Very nice experience here the other night. The young lady at the door was very prompt. Gave us a table right near the front door. Our server was wonderful. She joked with us made some great suggestions on the food. Everything was cooked and delivered to the table perfectly. We had the prime rib which was very tasty. Also, the bacon rat medallions which were cooked to perfection. French onion soup was also very tasty. Great service and a good price with a family atmosphere

When you’re not in the mood for fancy but you just don’t want to cook. Wide varietyy of selections -offers just about anything you can want or crave. Super quick, delightful servers with some personality. Inexpensive. Very clean which is really important!

Great food. I always get take out. The way they carefully wrap our soups is great. Always gets home hot and not spilled! A great menu and reasonable prices. Employees are very friendly.

We were a group of 8 who have decided to get together once a month after 50 years of friendship. I hadn’t been there in many years. The atmosphere was beautiful, food was great and our server was Sally made our experience over the top. Sally was so accommodating, always with a smile and anything we asked was never a problem. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Alexander's has been a staple of what the community lives on for countless years. Yesterday we ordered the Veal Parm with Liguini, stuffed Rigatoni with Meatballs, and the Homestyle turkey dinner. The Veal Parm was delicious and something I haven't ordered in a long time. The sauce is one of the best locally and the linguini was a perfect addition. The Homestyle Turkey Dinner was like Thanksgiving at Gradma's house. The stuffed Rigatoni was an awesome surprise that my Son gave a thumbs up to. Alexander's has bailed us out many times for special occasions and last-minute procrastination on my part. This was takeout, but their dining in is very spacious and beautifully arranged. Stop on in and experience one of NEPA'S finest Family Restaurants.

We went on Thanksgiving. We both had the crab bisque. For dinner, my wife had the sea scallops and I had the chicken and risotto. We also had a side of squash to make it festive. All was delicious and flavorful. Go out of your way to try this place!
